Composite Bonding
Composite bonding can be used to make cosmetic improvements to your smile without having to compromise your natural teeth. The procedure uses tooth coloured composite resin material to
conceal chips or cracks in your teeth
camouflage tooth discolouration
make your teeth look longer
change the shape of your teeth
As well as being minimally invasive, composite bonding is quick with work often being completed in one visit. In addition it is not usually painful as the work is not taking place any where near the pain-sensitive nerve inside your tooth. Good oral hygiene is important to their upkeep and a well looked after restoration can last many years.
Composite bonding has many advantages over veneers or crowns for cosmetic purposes but there are some disadvantages. For example they may need to be redone more frequently than porcelain veneers or crowns as they are not as robust or resistant to staining but they can last for many years.
We would be more than happy to help you determine which solution would be best for you.
